Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Yarn Costing Calculator mobile application (the "App") provided by Bhavin Shiroya — Frontera Infotech ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the App
Yarn Costing Calculator is a business utility for textile professionals. It helps you estimate the manufacturing cost of woven greige fabric based on warp and weft yarn parameters, process costs, and related inputs. The App is intended for informational and business estimation purposes in the textile trade.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the App. The App is designed for business and professional use, not for children.
3. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable app store rules (including Google Play).
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code (except where law permits)
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the App or any part of it
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation or related services
4. No Account Required
The App does not require registration or an account. Your costing data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up important data (e.g. by exporting or sharing reports) because uninstalling the App or clearing app data will delete local information.
5. Calculations and Disclaimer
The App is provided for estimation purposes only. Calculated costs depend entirely on the values you enter. While we strive for formula accuracy and test against known reference calculations, we make no warranty that:
- Results are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular transaction
- Outputs match market prices, supplier quotes, or accounting requirements
- The App is free from errors or interruptions
You are solely responsible for verifying all inputs and outputs before making business, pricing, or financial decisions. We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on App calculations.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of the costing data you enter. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Sharing and Third-Party Services
When you use Share or PDF export, content is handed off to apps and services you select (e.g. messaging apps, email). We are not responsible for how those third parties handle your data. The App also uses third-party services including Google AdMob (advertising on Android and iOS), PostHog (analytics), and Expo (updates), as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Free, Ad-Supported App
The App is provided free of charge and supported by advertising on both Android and iOS. You will see banner and occasional full-screen (interstitial) ads while using the App. We may introduce in-app purchases (such as a paid "remove ads" option) or other pricing models in the future with appropriate notice where required.
Third-party advertisers (including Google) are responsible for the content of ads they serve. We do not endorse products or services shown in ads. Your interaction with ads is subject to the advertiser's and Google's terms and policies.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Frontera Infotech or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the App as intended.
10. Updates and Changes
We may update the App (including via over-the-air updates) to fix bugs, improve features, or comply with legal requirements. We may also modify or discontinue the App at any time. We may update these Terms; continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law or app store policies.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim (currently ₹0 / $0 as the App is free).
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Frontera Infotech from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
